shown 200+ fps but feels only 30fps

Question

Hi Devs or anyone who is concerned, I have played almost 2000 hours of apex has never encountered this before.

The in game display shows that my fps is around 230 and the actual fps feels like 30.

I'm pretty sure there is nothing wrong with my specs as the in game stat display already shows 200+ fps and I have always been able to play on that. I have tried reinstall the game, graphics driver. I have always been playing with V-sync off. I have the fps cap removed through the startup command +fps_max 240. I have checked the global settings on Nvidia control panel and the preferred processor is set to 2070S as this is the only graphic card on my PC. I had no problem playing on 200 fps on other games and this seems to be only with Apex.

Please help as this is the main game I play and I have always been loving it.

Hi @xyzhuuu, what refresh rate does your monitor support? Have you tried locking the FPS lower then 200?/Atic

@xyzhuuuHellou. Same here with 120-144fps.After season 15 got out there have been this mystery going on..Feels I am missing frames in many situations.--&gt; I get shot and I turn to cover and while in cover -knocked down-.--&gt; Movement is stuttering and it feels off. -Making more dead slides than slides. Its like animations and my inputs are not in line anymore.-
