[SOLUTION]Fix Apex Legends Random Crashes
Good Morning,
After a lot of struggles I finally found a solution that actually worked (for me) to fix Apex Legends random crashes.
Like many of you my game was crashing without reason, most of the time after dropping from the ship.
After many investigation I've found the cause.
In one sentence: the crashes were caused by the Intel Integrated Graphics Drivers.
First of all my configuration:
- AMD RX480
- i5 7500
- 8 GB RAM
Then the guide:
- How did I notice it : my AMD Radeon Settings were crashing. That was strange. Basically I could not open it. System tried to load it but without any steps further. I thought that this could definitely be the problem. If AMD radeon settings were not loading it could have been a conflict in drivers that were actually installed.
- What I've done: Performed a driver clean up from the bottom up. You can do this by downloading DDU here.
- Disable Microsoft Update from services.msc
- Disable your Intel Integrated Graphics from your pc components or your motherboard
- Run your PC in Safe Mode
- Run DDU and uninstall the drivers related to your graphics card
- Reboot
- Install the drivers related to your graphics card
- Run your PC in safe Mode
- Run DDU and uninstall the drivers related to the Intel Integrated graphics card
- Reboot normally
- Enjoy: after all these steps, my AMD settings were running correctly and I had more than 8 games without crashes at all.
More things I've done before:
- Lowered my graphics settings
- Setting the game to windowed
- Maxed out my FPS
- Lowered the priority of the game antivirus
I hope this can help all of you.
See ya.
