Steam Version of Apex Legends Lags In Lobby With 300+ Friends

The lobby is still lagging on the Steam version of Apex. I can only assume it's because of the amount of friends I have on the platform (300+, specifically 304). This is similar to the launch of Dest...

Hello I got 340 players  just added to my friends list. It was 12 before and I do not know them. They are botaccounts with random numbers. 
I havent earned  any friends on steam or origin. Its apex only
