Loaded up apex and it says I need to do orientation. I am level 167 and it won’t even let me play the orientation. The only thing that works is the training grounds and the firing range.
I have restarted my ps5 2 times and restarted the game like 5 time. When my squad mates join it says they are level 1. Happening in north Idaho.
Hello,I'm new to the apex but not really new because I have over 480+ games played in BR mode and I was queining with my new friend to apex,but he also did orientation matches,and we played like 3 or 4 matches in normal duo mode,and then I switch my legend(Idk does that have anything with that)from Fuse to Pathfinder and then our que was not possible because there was message that I have to complete Orientation matches and I leave party,try to que but like its in que for 2 3 sec and I got automaticly kicked from que. Only other 2 things I can do is Firing range and training. Can somebody help me please,because idk what is going on RN.
A lot of people having problems rn,even apex pro/streamer players are creating private lobbys because its only way to play rn.Waiting for EA
Apex just shot me into orientation matches, and won't let me load in.

What happens when the bug occurs? We can’t play the game. We both have our accounts and see stuff normal but when one of us joins the other they are level 1 and it won’t let us load into anything besides firing range. It says we have an orientation match and when you try to ready up it un-ready you.
What should be happening instead? We should be able to play the game

Im level 172 and i just got a message saying that i have to complete orientation matches again??? I've kept all my skins and my level but i have to do orientation matches, and when i try to load into one, it wont let me join no matter how long i wait. Closing out does not help either.
Yeah, I have the exact same problem. It says I need to do an orientation match (even though I am level 84), and then I try to do one and it keeps kicking me out of the matchmaking process. Please help.
i was also thinking its a new update and they just have to stop us from playing for a but but my friend is playing ranked matches right now so i dont know what to think.

Im prestige level 284 and its put me in orientation matches which i can't even join, i was playing ranked before this and went for a smoke came back to disconnect for inactivity and now i cant play anymore??? Fix your game wtf is this, like its not fit for purpose if its gonna glitch like this.. ridiculous.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I believe the issue occurred because I hit level 50 unlocking ranked and re-triggered the required orientation matches from account creation.
The bug most likely occurs from reaching level 50 on an account that was created before orientation matches were a thing as the activation of ranked is related to hitting level 50.
The issue cannot be hitting level 50. I just logged on for the first time today on PC and am level 320 and it is requiring the orientation matches for me as well. Won't let me load them either. Will queue for about 4 seconds then it will automatically un-queue me.
I’m level 443 and this is happening to me… not happy.
Yeah I just realized as well that it wouldn't let me que them as well hitting level 50 was the only thing that happened out of the ordinary but it appears to not be the cause.

What happens when the bug occurs? I played apex once, years ago when it came out originally, was going to give it another try, but it says i need to complete orientation matches. When I try to join an orientation match it just loads for a second and then nothing happens, completely locking me out of the game

I also have been put on orientation matches (lvl 314) and cannot launch into a match.
Same here , not letting me to join orientation match and any other game mode
tldr:After cross progression prompts me to play orientation but cant ready up.
I recently connected my account for cross progression from Xbox to PC. I started my pc and my account was there and everything was fine, played a couple matches everything was normal, then I closed the game and reopened it back up sometime later. Now prompts me to play "orientation" matches, and says I'm a new player even though I'm level 95? Even if I try to ready up for the matches, it sits on matchmaking for about 10 seconds and then unready's me, so I cant even play any game mode at all except training. Please help.
