Suddenly experiencing much lower framerate than usual

Is anyone else experiencing a sudden drop in FPS (maybe accompanied by some frameskips as well)? starting yesterday my game is suddenly experiencing huge drops in framerates, especially when still in the jumpship. Once I get down, it's better, but still noticeably worse than normally. Am I the only or have they messed something up (AGAIN)? I know yesterday was the weekly reset, but I didn't see any patches applied. I have no similar issues with any other games I play. Haven't done anything to my computer either. Tried repairing the game on Steam and even reinstalling the GPU drivers to no avail. What is going on?
