Hey call521,
We are unable to make any changes to your account here on the forums, including investigating or changing a ban. The only team able to review a ban or remove it from the account would be our Terms of Service team, via an appeal.
If you have already completed multiple reviews and the ToS team declined to remove a penalty, I'm afraid that would be final and cannot be changed through any other channels either.
As far as the keybinds, you may be able to retrieve them if you're still using the same PC and Windows login as before. You should be able to check C:\Users\USERNAME\Saved Games\Respawn\Apex\local and copy the settings.cfg file to make sure the keybinds are saved. If you're using the same Windows profile and PC, those should appear automatically, but you may wish to copy that file first just to be sure.

Just wondering, I deleted Apex from my computer before, and now I've reinstalled it—can I find my previous security settings in the folder?

That would really depend on how thorough the deletion was previously, but you can always check to see if those files are still available if you haven't already launched Apex again since reinstalling. That would be the only place to check that I'm aware of, so it would be worth a quick look in either case!- call5214 days agoNew Novice
Thank you sincerely for your help. I’ve copied my configuration files, though I’m still unsure if they’ll work with a new account—but your assistance already means a lot.
I truly hope Apex keeps getting better. What matters most to players like me, though, is seeing the review system grow more precise. It’s painful to watch dedicated, fair players (who love this game as much as I do) get locked out because of wrongful bans. I hope the team can adjust policies around such cases: no genuine player should have to quit a game they cherish over a preventable mistake.
You might not realize how many passionate Apex players there are in China. We pour hours into this game, clinging to its fairness. I won’t deny there are cheaters—and they’re frustrating for all of us—but that’s no reason to let honest players suffer unfair treatment. Let’s make sure the system protects the majority who play clean, so fewer of us get pushed away by errors.
Thanks again for taking the time to help. Here’s to Apex staying a game we can all keep loving.
