The NJ and Xfinity packet loss situation

Hello , after the recent update to the servers (AWS) , I have been playing on 40 - 50 packet loss constant I tried multiple methods and I have found one that potentially might work.

I will list and explain what it does.

Method :- Cloudflare WARP tunnel. (Cloudflare One Client)

* So , put in simple words the servers do not like public networks. As for Xfinity it is a problem with the communication between EA and Xfinity. With AWS there has been put an anti-DDos layer for protection. This layer of protection is finicky so we use Cloudflare Warp. This method changes the route our packets take , in short a straight tunnel of communication.

How to install :-

  1. Open any browser and go to one.one.one.one -> Download the installer and install it.
  2. Choose the no login option and wait
  3. On the home page navigate to SETTINGS -> MODE , choose Traffic and DNS (UDP).
  4. Navigate to home and click connect.

Method :- Setting Parameters on launch (Steam & EA Launcher)

* Setting parameters can help with how your preferred game launcher handles your game.

How to set parameters:-

  1. Open Steam/EA and go to your game properties
  2. Under LAUNCH OPTIONS paste this

    +cl_interp_ratio 1 +cl_updaterate 128 +cl_forcepreload 1

  3. This sets you game tick rate to 128 and helps loading assets first

It should look like this :-

I highly recommend doing both methods as it eliminated my packet loss.
