TRYING TO CHANGE MY EA NAME AND IT WONT CHANGE IN APEX LEGENDS

I have tried changing my ea name it lets me in the website but when i go into apex legends it's still an old name i prefer not to use anymore anyone know how to fix this? (I play on xbox)

MsSuccupuffs​ It goes by your platform username, (so you would need to change your Xbox username, not your EA ID).
