Unable to play Apex in Fullscreen. Keeps exiting to windowed mode.

I have a 4k monitor laptop with an i7 processor, 16 GB RAM and Nvidia GTX 1050 2GB graphics. Obviously, I can't run the game in 4k (which I'm not trying to). I'm trying to run it at a much lower reso...

    WOW. Dude, this actually worked! My taskbar was on top and I moved it bottom and now it works

Hey did u try forcing it to launch in full screen from origin, if not here's how to :

1.open origin, go to game library
2.right click apex and click properties
3.go to advanced launch options and type
"-fullscreen" without quotes.

    I have my taskbar at the top and what worked for me is disabling News and interests.
