Unlink and link of new account doesn't appear in game

I swaped over from ps4 to xbox about a year ago and realised the other day that my ps4 ea account was using a different email than the one I used with xbox. To get my ps4 account onto my xbox i unlinked the newer ea account from my xbox and linked it with my previous ea account that has all the data and progression I want. But when I go onto apex the currency is forever loading and I can't access any tabs in the main game menu other than "Clubs" and "Play". Aswell as this it is showing the player level of what was my xbox account. The odd thing is i can still play the game with this account when the data should have been deleted. Did I royally screw up or is it just taking a bit to load the ea account from my ps4.
