Unlinking banned account

Hey, my account has been banned I'm fine with that but i can't unlink my twitch prime for it / steam... is there any way I can unlink it by myself? I tried contacting support but getting responses about ban but none about unlinking so idk if they are reading it or getting auto bot responses. thanks

  • Hi @Awosex

The EA support team can't help with unlinking accounts connected to an EA account that has a ban in place. Account is locked from any account changes being made while a bans active.

    I'd recommend the following:

    • For the EA Account Ban: If the rules weren't broken, please hit up the Terms of Service team. Follow the advise in this thread for help doing that: EA Bans and Suspensions - How they work and how to get in contact with us
    • For the Amazon Prime Subscription: If the ban isn't getting overturned, you can end your Amazon Prime Membership so you are no longer charged for a subscription tethered to a banned EA account. The Amazon support should be able to assist you in cancelling the subscription if you'd run into issues following the steps in that article.

    Hey @Awosex

Sorry to say but our team would not be able to assist you in getting around a ban by removing your linked account.

@EA_FieryHelios Okay I understand that you can't unlink it from my steam. But can you unlink at least the amazon prime? Like I'm paying for it monthly and I want to use my skins that I'm paying for. Right nowe I can't use it because only EA can unlink it. Thanks

    Hi @NewWorld998

The information has already been shared by @EA_FieryHelios and @OldTreeCreeper, but allow me to share it in another way:

    1. Unlinking: There is no way to unlink accounts from an EA account that has an active ban
    2. Appeal a Ban: The way to appeal a ban if - and only if - you believe no rules were broken/it was mistakenly added, is to appeal it with ToS via the webform. Check out this thread for more on that: EA Bans and Suspensions - How they work and how to get in contact with us

Hopefully, that helps clear up any confusion.

@EA_Lanna So basically I really need to create another amazon prime? Because EA is unable to remove 3rd party thingy from my account that I'm paying for? that's kinda absurd not gonna lie
  • @Awosex I got my account banned as well. I am having real problem now. I bought fifa 23 and because of the ban I can't play online. Could you unlink your account?

    Hi @Gani_Leo

We won't offer support or advise players on how to get around account/game bans and won't facilitate discussions like that on the forums. As a result, I'm closing this thread out here.

Bans are added for a reason. If you feel there's been a mistake or the rules weren't broken, please use the official channel set-up to help you appeal this and have the ban looked into. The Terms of Service team do overturn bans if after a thorough investigation shows that it doesn't belong on the account. Check out this helpful guide/FAQ on the subject, it will share more information about bans, why they are added and how you can appeal them as well as offer tips on filling out the webform:  EA Bans and Suspensions - How they work and how to get in contact with us.

    Thank you.
