I just payed £9.00 to upgrade my battle pass, it said in the corner “instant rewards; 1200 crafting metals and a bundle of apex packs” +skins and exotic shards, ive only received the skins and exotic shards.

If you did, then the instant rewards should of been already granted via the Ultimate pass as those do not stack with the Ultimate+ pass, (however, if you had upgraded from Premium to Ultimate+, then yeah, you would be owed the instant rewards).
In other words:
If the rewards had stacked, then Ultimate+ would of had twice the amount of packs and crafting materials.
yeah i upgraded from ultimate, but i didnt see a warning anywhere were it says it doesnt stack otherwise i wouldnt of bought it and i wouldve just got coins instead, ive tried getting a refund/gets £10 coins worth but ive had no help

I don't see a warning either, so I'm guessing its meant to be "assumed" or be seen as "common knowledge", (as in, we the players should be able to tell that Ultimate+ pass includes items from the Ultimate pass, while also containing extra items that is exclusive to the Ultimate+ pass version).
That kind of system is not fully transparent if you ask me, so it is a shame that it doesn't tell us, however sadly as well, the upgrade cannot be refunded once bought.
Is there any way i can get any compensation? even just a couple of packs because if i knew i wouldve spent my coins on something else
