So if you don't already know there is a small tag at the bottem left of your screen in the lobby something along the lines of
SID: (insert a bunch of numbers and letters)
What is this used for and can someone do something with my account if they know these digits? Please anwser I'm worried

This is true. But you can always be tracked by others players from your ID, which is displayed as team mates, spectating or kill cams. This is to help w/ reporting users. The Anonymous mode only changes your name to some generic name based off the legend you're using and does not change your ID. Streamer mode is a feature that removes player IDs from your screen to help w/ privacy of the other players in the match, which most streamers don't use.
Although it does not reveal the EA account, it still can be used to identify someone.

So I don't have to worry about it getting leaked?

noobl3fty26 SID stands for "Server ID", so all this does is tell you what server you're connected to.
