Context: I came back to Apex recently as I lost interest in game I was playing competitively and wanted to be able to play a different game to relax / take less seriously. When I was playing ranked (This was the first time I had played ranked in Apex, I've had the account since day 1 of launch but never played in ranked), after playing a couple of game I was just banned out of nowhere with the message of "The client's game account has been banned: Banned". So I instantly submitted a case and waited until today. This is also an account that when I first started to play apex, I sunk a decent amount of money and time into it.
I finally got an email about my previous case after a week, that said that I was "cheating" and that ea sticks by its decision. I'm literally at a loss for words as I have never ever used:
• use software that interferes with or disrupts an EA Service or another user’s account.
• use undocumented features, exploits or cheats in-game that disrupts an EA Service or another user’s account.
• use software or cheats that disconnects other users from the EA servers.
Although in anti cheat work you tend not to disclose the information and say what people were specifically banned for (Aimbot, esp, silent aim, stuff like that), I would like to know what I have been falsely banned for. I have now submitted another case in the hopes that they redo their evaluation on my case. I've seen people get advice from other players and EA staff on here so I'm hoping I can actually talk to humans about it rather than waiting for the brick wall that is EA's case system.
Have any of you guys had this issue and resolved it? How did you tackle it? Is it possible to speak to any real person at EA?
