I saw people being banned on windows too in this wave. If they aren't lying about the cause then nobody is safe.

But I can speak only for myself: I was on Linux and was falsely banned yesterday.

@devel_origin This also happened to me, not in steam deck but a fedora 39 branch (nobara)
I got banned sunday night and the only thing that changed what that new DX12 option they added on steam and I just started using that

I disputed it but got declined
Also the mods response can't be worse since they sound like bots
