Windows Update destroys fps [Edit - Admin.]

Hello

I seem to have a very odd issue with my apex legends. I have freshly reinstalled my Windows twice because of this, and I have now had this problem repeat itself twice. From freshly reinstalling Windows, I play fine at a 144fps lock. But then when Windows will eventually force an update down my throat, I get down to 50 fps. I have tried nearly everything to fix this. Please help.

Running on a  nvidia 1080, I7 6700k.
