I've been having the issue since the update. Crashes at all times majorly after taking my first steps. I was able to play a few games after a few things. It stops working every so often, but I can play one to three before it quits.
At first I was always being matched with a player named bob. I quit after my first few crashes and after changing my audio settings and turning on game mode on my xbox I noticed less frequency of crashes. I restart my game every game to make sure I can play.
Something that might not mean anything is every time I restart I change my preferred character. Dropping as Gibraltar always crashes me but choosing a new preferred legend besides whoever is selected as perferred and then not selecting whoever is preferred to play as works but I'm still narrowing it down. Im assuming anyone who plays their preferred character that was selected before the update will have a crash. Luckily for me I was going for the 5k legends achievement so my mains are not affected.
This only works to have a successful drop otherwise any crash before launching still happens. Game mode and audio setting changes helped but to be sure I have to reset after any loading section and see the notification from my tv that it is turned on and off. Ill see if it works from going to dash and back since that turns the setting on and off.
