Been trying all day now and keep getting the same error. The screen loads up to select character and then the yellow apex banner keeps opening and closing and it puts me back to the main screen with error "Connection to server timed out, codenet: signon". On top of that my mic won't work in game since the update but works in party etc. Honestly sick of the issues with this game after an update!
Having the same issue. Think it’s worth noting me and my girlfriend both play on Xbox and she can find diamond lobbies just fine. But I cannot find a masters lobby. I get the same issue with the character selection screen repeatedly opening from yellow banners. Also when we queue up together she disconnects from the game as well.
so I’m thinking masters/pred lobbies have different servers that are just * and keep failing?
or people are DDOS-ing servers in a last ditch effort to hit pred. And these last 5 days will be unplayable and they might extend split by a week to make up for it but since it’s only console I doubt they would extent the split and if they did, it wouldn’t fix the issue. It would probably remain unplayable.

Not even that mad just disappointed. it’s been 10 seasons now and the company has made millions and done updates several times now and hasn’t gotten it right a single….. *ing… time…. The only consistency of this game is it being broken by every update to touch it and being unplayable the first week or 2 after every update. I don’t even try to play the first day of events and updates anymore. It completely ruins the hype and makes me dread/fear new content because I won’t be able to play my favorite game for who knows how long, feels like they know updates will F* up the game and they drop them anyway to make money off the event and don’t fix the game until a specific amount of money has been made first. All so they can pointlessly rebalance legends and weapons as a cover up to justify your *ing money grab events because let’s be honest that’s all they are. In my eyes every “balance update” is done by brain dead idiots who don’t even play the game because the havoc and devotion even without and especially with the turbocharger either need removed entirely or nerfed to the *ing ground already. The only reason it’s still in the game is because the dog S* players can’t get kills without them. Having some level 5 player that’s never touched an fps be able to kill you, leaving you little to no way to counteract means something is fundamentally wrong with the game and doesn’t sound “balanced” at all to me. I’ve played since preseason and couldn’t even touch seasons 3-4 because of the energy weapon meta. Back then you were almost forced to use devotion or havoc because everybody had it and it was way to powerful. The devs knew this and left it the entire season then nerfed it after. I like to think I wasn’t the only player who wasn’t a fan and that the numbers of players they were losing would show and they would put 2+2=4 together and realize the havoc and devotion were a mistake. The only plus side of this whole situation is that at least I’m not getting a 10 minute penalty and losing points every time I get kicked out of the lobby. Which does usually happen other seasons. I could keep going on but, it’s pointless. EA feel free to dm me for some more unfiltered feedback but it’s probably unlikely because it feels like you don’t give a single F* about console players anyway. been promised a next gen console fps update the last 2 maybe more seasons ago. Oh and what happened to removing tap strafe?? Lol just a *ing L of a company all around. Such a joke. Then you remove punch boosting the month after it’s discovered… wtf!?
How do I feel like I deserve a refund for a free game. Only you could do that. I honestly hope every EA employee goes to a micro transaction hells-cape for all eternity when they die
