I'm going to add to this thread, because this issue has gone for far too long with very little acknowledgment. It's been so long that I can't even remember when the very first Next Gen Xbox update dropped, that's when everything on Xbox new gen started to go south.
I have not been able to communicate in game chat ever since that update, you need to understand that playing rank in higher end tiers like Plat has been a nightmare without comms, an entire split somewhat wasted because I can't maximize my chances of ranking up without comms.
This issue has a detrimental effect on my gaming experience, and I'm sure it's the same for other Xbox users, as well as my teammates regardless of platform. The amount of times I'm being ridiculed in rank games by teammates assuming I just don't use a mic, is getting too much to bare, I'd rather not play.
This bug was on the Trello board, marked as fixed, and coming in a future patch.....I assumed it would be dispatched in this latest update, very, very disappointing to read the patch notes and see nothing in regards to game chat not being fixed.
How much longer are Xbox players going to be ignored?
