Xbox series s game chat not working since next gen update!!!!

Why does it take so long to fix this issue and why is it when theres an update for apex something else goes wrong??? What going on at respawn/ea!!!!!!!!!

Since season 13 has started I do not have voice chat capabilities on my Xbox series X. I can hear my squad mates but can not speak to them even though there is a mic symbol beside my name on the HUD. All other games and using Xbox party chat works but when I’m solo queuing it would be nice to have comms with squad mates who are trying to communicate as well.
