Helicopter gameplay is near damn impossible

All i know is 1/2 the time I spawn in on a helicopter, it gets blown apart within 2 seconds (would be nice to know the state of the helicopter BEFORE I spawn in...), and the other 1/2 of the time i get stuck with the pilot who just flies around the outside edge of the map (really? what is your purpose NOT engaging the enemy? starts to feel like nascar.. ) or they insist on flying low and then getting in dogfights and wondering why we keep getting killed (From ABOVE, dummy! climb! climb! climb!).

You know, infantry is unplayable if multiple vehicles shoot at you.  Armor is unplayable if multiple air are shooting at you.

So why should air get a break?  The expectation that a game with 32-64 opponents and only 1 gets to engage you is a completely moronic expectation.  It just shows the entitlement attitude with gaming. 

Oh and for the record as someone who finally T1'd Lis, if youre dying to Lis, accelerate and you wont.  Turn and you wont.  Adjust pitch, go higher.  The Lis rocket is the easiest things to avoid.  Fly around a building, out of bounds.  

Now after about 300 kills, I learned the pattern of pilots and planned my rockets accordingly.   I began to down Tbirds and Stealths which are one hits.  Not because they are easy, but because the pilots have enjoyed such an easy time of it, they became lazy pilots.  

LOL, multiple Lis.   That was hilarious.   Hey everybody, the air pilot who has unlimited ammo and rockets thinks its unfair to team up on them.

@Padding_Ur_StatsLiz has unlimited ammo too with higher delay. Let's not go there. Every other ground vehicle has it also.

Imo you shouldn't have that 1 hit reward with 20x spawn timer difference. If helo would instant spawn, you know, i wouldn't be here.

You are another player with private profile and excuses to not show stats. Good players in this game end up with good stats. Low skill players don't. Not only you are not good at the game, you try to shove your incorrect opinion as objective and the only correct one. And no, every single soldier should NOT have a rocket launcher that can be replenished instantly with redeploy, insane maneuverability on rocket and finally the damage to one-shot the only, SINGLE attack vehicle that takes more time to master and learn. I don't know why it's difficult for people to understand, but recoilless M4/5 is litterally a worse version of TV against air now.

Go and check how TV was implemented in BF 4 please, that game made much more sense in the balance department.

7. Soflam to allow bugged, ULTRA speed one-shot M5s to be shot at you.
8. TOW missiles from tanks and (LOL MOMENT) hovercrafts 

9. With recent changes to armor, even 40mm/50mm from jeeps downing the stealth heli in a few shots. 

10. Sundance grenade tracking air as well....

Having listed all that and maybe to some surprise, I honestly don't expect things to change much for helis at the moment. The game is very casual and unbalanced in some aspects. Some of those unbalanced aspects connected with air are obviously far below the sanity level (Liz and Rao for certain).

That's life...and none of that has anything to do with someone's opinion being correct or not. It's called an "opinion" not a "fact" for a reason. I believe you are talking about a helo being the "SINGLE attack vehicle that takes more time to master and learn" and in my opinion, that's false. Especially the stealth. It's not all that.. I'm not a good pilot and can admit that (keyboard and mouse flying sucks) which is why I don't fly them often, but I can tell you I've NEVER been hit by a Lis missile and that is FACT. They are just way too easy to dodge. I haven't gone and looked at your profile and don't intend to because it's pointless, but I'm betting you fly mostly the stealths and not much else just based on the fact that you don't debate things about helos. Instead, you come in here and tell people they suck at the game and any opinion that doesn't favor the helo is wrong because they might just get a buff which would kill your ability to easily farm kills with the helo. Don't bother looking at my stats and I stand by to have you tell me my opinion is invalid too, because my stats are hidden.  Everyone, hidden stats or not, knows that there is a balance issue in 2042 when a person can go 90 KD or better doing something...

Why hide them though? You hide them as well apparently. If you are objective with yourself, there is nothing to hide from the rest of people in here. I tag this stat topic because people start talking about themself first (yet they are nothing special) and because in any debate you have to be honest with your opponent. Those guys are not honest even with their reflection. Having said that, their opinions on the game are indeed biased. They all want to take out any vehicle as a solo infantry and they want it as easy as possible. Dice is potentially on board with this causality, considering Lis missile properties. A lot of options were presented above about how the TV can be adjusted to require more skill and be more fair to air drivers at the same time.

PS - just a thought for you as well, maybe opinions would actually differ based on skill level in the game. And maybe the devs should listen to both categories of players, not just the low skill bracket trying to make the game as casual as possible

PPS - if you think that some aspects of the heli itself are way too easy to master/casual, you'd prolly be surprised but I would gladly remove stealth mode and/or noob 30mm entirely just to get rid of similar casual options for infantry or other AA choices. It's just the problem of development, where Dice tries to give fun to everyone. Make bad pilots get frags as well with splash or have the option to remove lock-ons completely. This discussion doesn't change the fact that there are way too many ways to deal with the heli and it doesn't perform well atm.

And again, you missed the point. Let me try saying it another way....stats don't matter. I could have a 30 KD and say that I'm a great player but in reality my cap numbers are low, I don't have many resupplies or revives, my team play is bad, and I've only got a small number of weapons even close to T1, but I'm a great player right? So my opinion counts more than anyone else? Or is it because all I do is stare at the screen waiting on a helo to spawn or a vehicle to spawn. Perhaps I have a modest KD like 1.5 or 2, but I've got 10s of 1000s of revives and resupplies, lots and lots of caps and most of my weapons and gadgets are T1'd. Who's the better player? Who opinion matters more?

Stop worrying about stats and start coming up with some concrete points that can be backed up or just call them your opinions and they carry the same weight at everyone else. And I agree....ALL opinions should be weighed, not just one group or the other...regardless, coming in here calling people names and saying they are bad at the game ain't the way.

Heli IMO are unbalanced when you can go 90 - 0 in them...
