How to Buff Boris and Crawford

@S3SSioN_SoLOne things for sure, they should make all supports waaay more attractive to pick.

Another thing would be to look at the scoring system for them and improve it.

Be cool if one of the engineers could have a crate drop option like Angel but for vehicles instead of infantry so players can change their vehicle loadouts on the battlefield. 

@S3SSioN_SoL please no... no more armor. Boris is good as infantry, as anybody else, don't know, why you try to make him a tank. The problem with him is, that he is too weak against vehicles, if he should be an Engineer (same for Crawford). The damage of the turret or the minigun is too low against vehicles, to be somewhat of a threat to anything, the bullets are too slow for fast moving vehicles (helicoper) and the time before it gets the first shot out is much too high to be any use. 

And I don't say, please buff the turret, until it kills whole armies on its own... but the problem is not, that the turret has too low health, or that it doesn't bring an EMP... it is just so weak, that everybody just can ignore it.

And Crawford, I have no answer for his minigun. It is just weak. Useless against vehicle, as you are a sitting duck, while you are doing nearly no damage to vehicles. It makes more sense in close combat against infantry but the maps are not very supportive for his toolkit. 

@Captain_Tachi  Sadly, doing anything but what I've mentioned would make them way too strong in my opinion, particularly increasing their damage output. Both the Turret and the Minigun already do noticeable amounts of damage to vehicles and infantry.

Boris Turret can already kill you if you're not paying attention but it dies too fast, the Turrets main purpose is area denial but it dies too fast to actually protect an area long enough for Boris to notice the enemies attacking it. Crawford's minigun is strong, but the user is still too vulnerable whilst using it.

These two engineers need to feel useful and not just as a result of their gadget. Remember, they're going up against Lis, an engineer who has infinite guided rockets.

Only way to "fix" them is to change their specialist "abilities" to something more vehicle centric.

You show me a pilot/tanker that claims to be scared of the mini-gun or the sentry gun and I'll show you a liar.

@S3SSioN_SoL I agree that both need some kind of buff. But meaningful damage and Boris turret against vehicle? Is here anybody (really anybody!) who had his vehicle destroyed through his turret? I doubt it, I am playing him now after I got Lis to T1 and no... Didn't happen to me. 

If you want to buff the turret in health, bring it on one level with the robo dog. 

And area denial... The turret lost its ability to shoot through smoke, the range is too short, the lock on time too long... I am on the way to T1 with this character, at the moment I think I will finish it 2025, so effective is this gun. 

I have to admit that I haven't played Crawford a lot, so can't say something qualified about him.

@Ironhead841  Hot take here, not every engineer needs to be exclusively geared towards vehicles.

This is why I suggested adding explosive protection whilst using Crawford's minigun such that it can fight against Infantry more effectively, making him far more useful in that regard too. Such as how Lis is excellent against vehicles, Crawford could be excellent against infantry.

People should also stop sleeping on the Recoilless, its really good and an excellent skill based weapon but alas, not as good as infinite guided rockets.

By virtue of this logic, Assault shouldn't be allowed to carry C5. What is "assault"? Why are they allowed C5?

@S3SSioN_SoL I agree with Ironhead here, but also with you. As Engineer, he should have something to do with vehicles as the main purpose of his existence and so his abilities should focus on that. On the other hand, it doesn't have to be the ability to be effective against vehicles or against all vehicles. 

His passive for example is good for repairing (nobody use it except in the helicopter), so if his ability would be helpful for friendly vehicles, this could make him meaningful, too. To make the specialists good against infantry makes less sense, for that purpose, we have the assault class. Sure, why does they have C5, can't tell you, but their abilities are focused against infantry.

And I think, not every engineer should has to be useful against every vehicle, we could specialize them even more, that they are better against certain types of vehicles.
