Breakthrough Returns to Main Menu After Match Found

    Hey, folks.

    We wanted to share an update on this one. We've removed the affected servers, but this may still occur. Please enable telemetry in your settings so the Instance ID is displayed in your game.

    The Telemetry ID may not appear. It's not mandatory to enable it, but it just may be helpful to us if the info appears when loading into an affected server. Studio is still investigating the issue on their side, even if folks can't provide us with that info

    Enable Telemetry in Settings

    1. Open Battlefield and go to the main menu.
    2. Click on the Settings gear icon (usually at the top right of the screen).
    3. Scroll over to the General or System Settings tab.
    4. Look for the Gameplay Data Sharing or Telemetry option.
    5. Toggle this setting ON to allow the game to send diagnostic data and your Instance ID to EA's servers

    If possible, record a short video of what happens with the Telemetry ID in-game, and attach it so we can pass along the details for review.

After the latest Battlefield 2042 update, I started having a strange problem on PC.

 

When I try to join large multiplayer modes like Conquest 64/128, the map starts loading, then the screen freezes for a few seconds and the game sends me back to the main menu without any error message.

 

Important details:

 

- Solo/Co-op works perfectly

- Team Deathmatch multiplayer works

- I can also join some servers through the server browser

- The problem mostly happens on large Conquest matches/maps

- Before today's update everything worked perfectly

- The game runs very well on Ultra settings, often above 180 FPS, but I manually capped it to 100 FPS

- Temperatures are normal

- Other games work normally

- No BSOD, no GPU crashes, no overheating

 

What I already tried:

 

- Reinstalled EA Anti Cheat

- Verified game files

- Disabled overlays

- Restarted PC

- Cleared cache

- Tested low graphics settings

 

System:

 

- ASUS TUF A16

- RTX 4050 Laptop GPU

- 16 GB RAM

- Windows 11

 

Is anyone else experiencing this after the latest update?

Same problem, here for about a week now ever since the limited time mode King of The Hill was live. I can play TDM but nothing else.

Tried all the usual fixes. EA App Recovery worked once then the problem was back again. I performed all the fixes you did except low graphics settings. It's clearly something EA/DICE have created and I'm sick and tired of messing about looking for fixes. And they emailed me asking why I wasn't buying BF6!  LOL! My advice to anyone reading this is to never pay more than £5 for any EA/DICE game - that is a policy I stick to.
