EA App not pulling through Xbox Friends

Hello,  I need some help with this one I am baffled.  I have been playing 2042 now for a while with my brother, I am on PC and he is on Xbox and we have played since release via Xbox Gamepass on PC...

Try to unfriend each other and then refriend.
