"FIX"? this isn't a "FIX" or a "solution" for MANY players if you've sifted through this and the other threads alike. People are still having issues loading BF2042 with your "Solution". Explain that. Explain to the people who are still having Blue screens and black screens when they've followed every "solution" step-by-step. Why can't people play the game? Why are their PC's bricking?
The fact players need to do this EXCLUSIVELY for BF2042 and NOT BF1, BFV, BF4 or SWBF2 which still has PLENTY of players over BF2042 is concerning while players rather not take a chance for a BF title that continuously lose players on a daily basis. There's cheaters in all of other games I've mentioned that players STILL play more than BF2042. Steam charts don't lie. Look at the player count for them.
It clearly shows players would rather NOT take the chance in potentially damaging their PC due to this lazy work around solution EA/DICE team came up with for players to play a single BF game, the ONLY BF game required to put your PC into Safe Mode. Why do you think that? Because of "cheaters"? Please, you're being fooled. You honestly think the reason why EA/DICE is doing this is because of "cheaters" when cheaters have plagued BF2042 since 2021 and "now" it's a big deal? Why? Seriously, ask yourself that. Why is EA/DICE pushing this to players now instead of recognizing the cheating debacle within the 1st few months into the release of BF2042?
This isn't a solution, it's a solution that creates MORE problems, not solve them.

Because people are stuck in the past with their discontinued win 10 and registry tweaks that fools system to believe different secure boot and TPM states.
Every Windows PC that are up to the latest standards will run any EA game without any issues. Not just EA games.. any game

Okay you like BF1, BFV, BF4 and SWBF2. This doesn't mean that BF2042 is sh*t. That is just your opinion and this is just one small thing in that total players number.. Doesn't make a tent. Me personally like BF2042 the most because i end up in empty servers in any other BF series.

Simply watch a YouTube video about Secure Boot specific to your motherboard manufacturer. You being lazy and not watching a guide before messing up your PC.. That's on you.. It is not that big deal actually. Since when you need to use Safe Mode to play BF2042?

Why does people ask EA repeatedly to do something about cheaters and when EA actually do something then same people who asked help against cheaters are crying here? Yes Secure Boot have a lot to do with cheaters because most or maybe all cheats need Secure Boot to be turned OFF.

Because this was never the norm for BF1, BFV, BF4, SWBF2 or ANY BF titles, even when they had their cheating debacle for over the years those titles were receiving in-game anti-cheat support for the game. Global Anti-Cheat and EAC were relevant for past BF titles including SWBF2. BF2042 is an exclusive case for players to enable Safe Mode to play a single BF title, no other. This has never been done before and for EA/DICE to twist this around to their advantage and to the players disadvantage for potentially damaging their PC, isn't the solution and EA/DICE knows this. We shouldn't "need" to configure our PC's to play a game because of cheaters. There's going to be cheaters in every online FPS game 10, 20 years from now, then what....every title going to have a new or improved Anti-Cheat and guess what, someone smarter out there will still find a way to bypass that anti-cheat and the next one, slip in their cheating programs and use them. I'm trying to help you understand that this isn't a conducive solution. EA/DICE is doing more HARM than GOOD with this situation. Check the thread, MORE people are having issues getting BF2042 to work and STILL receive error codes even when their Safe Mode is enabled.
This is doing nothing for cheaters. Just like EAC and every other Anti-Cheat system EA/DICE has thrown to BF game titles. Cheaters are still present in BF2042, this "Safe Mode" idea was to minimize the amount of cheaters being able to get into BF2042, it will not prevent every cheater from getting into BF2042.
I CAN 100% put my PC in "Safe Mode" to play BF2042 If I wanted to, I just choose not to because I play many other games that don't require to configure my BiOS to put my PC in Safe Mode which could potentially not work because my Safe Mode is OFF and everything is good as gravy with all the game I play right now. I've never said BF2042 was "bad" to play. I enjoy playing BF2042. It's the fact that EA/DICE has to FORCE the players if they want to play a video game that they've created, with their anti-cheat built specifically for BF2042 infrastructure to put into Safe Mode is mind blowing. They're minimalizing the potential of cheaters getting through to play the game. This solution that everyone is posting to put their PC into "Safe Mode" to play BF2042, they're giving cheaters the solution to play BF2042 and still use their cheats. Safe Mode is not "cheat program proof". To think it is, it's laughable.
Now you may be thinking "The reason why you don't want to put your PC into Safe Mode is because you probably use cheats!". (puts hands up). Oh boy, you sure got me there. Surly I wouldn't be because it could potentially harm my other games from running properly because I might be a cheater, right? I don't have an impressive K/D or stats to care to cheat anyway, if EA/DICE were to know I was a blatant cheater, my account would of been banned from playing BF2042 A LONG time ago since launch and I only have ONE account with BF2042 installed.
Look at the consensus here in this thread. People are having issues no matter how many solutions you or EA/DICE throws at them, YT links to watch on how to put your PC in Safe Mode. People just don't want to bother and don't have a good feeling that this will be required going into BF6. About "potentially damaging their PC"... You can potentially damage your PC when you surf on internet or you can get potentially hurt simply walking on the street minding your own business.. I can go on.

People were demanding solution and there you have it. Due to cheat makers finding new ways to cheat then EA have to do the same by having Secure Boot enabled..

You can't understand how anti cheat or cheats work if you have no idea how they work.. So that there is just some moaning you do.
