I also have this issue, sometimes restarting my PC helps, other times I have to Alt-F4 and then relaunch a couple times to get the game to run correctly. So far the only thing I can see as an indicator of it failing on that launch seems to be not getting the Season splash screen, and instead it will go to the satellite loading screen/video but will not show that it is connecting to online services. If I get the season splash screen, then I will get the satellite video with it connecting to services after. Very odd issue

@techb00merdo you got some kind of a private network at home ? What is youre upload and download speed ? Running any program in the backgroubd (especially some security software , virusscanner/firewall/vpn ect ect ect ?)please post a dxdiag

If this consistently occurred, yeah possibly. But that is not the case, I appreciate the troubleshooting steps but I think this goes deeper than a simple network connectivity problem.This is an application issue loading objects on first launch only. If it was an ISP issue others would be having this problem, and it would be more widespread.Have a look at my post from yesterday which outlines some of the troubleshooting I have already been through (Re: Loading screen loop - Answer HQ (ea.com)Assume i have done all the basic things you can think of.

@techb00mer ok lets forget isp issues then.Did ya try to use only 1 monitor to play this game ! shutdown pc, disconnect 1 monitor and test your game. I did read a 1440p monitor could cause issues at some systems / poeple game !

Nope, even completely wiped my PC (after all the recent crashing issues)Still get it randomly, no idea what causes it.

Ok so slight update:

The most common thing I have noticed is that this happens when you first launch the game after booting your PC.

Unfortunately yes, and @darkmadcat1 is on the money. When the Season splash screen doesn't show up at the start that is usually a good indicator that it is going to happen.
I will say it does appear to be happening a little less frequently from what I remember.

Ill be honest, I dont actually think I have had it happen once in Season 2.....

My working theory behind this issue is that the title sequence (splash screen & text etc) are objects that are failing to load for some reason (duh).
Initially I thought this may be DNS related, however after monitoring using several methods (wireshark, sysmon, netmon, switching DNS providers etc) this doesn't appear to be the case. No DNS failures, NXDOMAIN's or anything like that.
Ive also tried decrypting the traffic between my client, specifically outgoing/incoming HTTPS requests but it doesn't look like the title sequence is loaded over HTTPS so sadly nothing there.
Holding off trying to figure this out any further as I am mildly worried all these attempts to intercept the game data may trigger something with EAC.
Is someone able to comment on how the title sequence is loaded? If it is live (ie over the network) or from the local disk, it may help figure out what is causing this randomly as its really hard to replicate this problem :-(

Is my home network a private network, yeah, isn't everyones :P
Speedtest puts me at around 250/25mbps. Only thing running in the background is GeForce Experience. I previously had Corsair iCUE but that was causing crashes so I kill that before launching the game now (Re: DirextX function "GetDeviceRemovedReason" failed with DXGI_ERROR_D - Page 21 - Answer HQ)

As for security/virus scanners, yeah of course. Defender for Endpoint, no VPN
