I haven't played Battlefield 2042 on my PS5 since its launch due to obvious reasons but not I have come back to the game and encountering an error when opening the game.Error is Unable to connect to EA servers. I can play Apex Legends and FIFA 2022 on my PS5 with no issue and both of them are EA games.Dunno what else I can do. They said my account is all fine. Did also try a mobile hotspot (not the best internet connection) but had the same issue on this.

@EA_Atic I don't have another PlayStation account. And I purchased this game digitally on my PS account so I can't play it on other accounts.It is installed on the internal drive of the PS5. I did try to to move it to the M.2 SSS which I installed in the PS5 but I still get the same error.

@EA_Atic I did talk to my ISP as mentioned above and they said I didn't have a double NAT.

@EA_Atic Not aware of any blockers on the account. Never been banned or suspended and I can still go online.Turned off my 2FA, restarted the console, logged out and back in of PSN. Still getting the same error. Did the normal test on Apex and that let me log in.

@EA_Atic Spoke with PS Support about my account and couldn't see any issues with my account. It's never been banned or banned from a game.

Can anyone help me with this? EA Support said this was the only way to get this fixed.

Did you try to reinstall the game and clear local and cloud saves for the game?

Yes, I went through this with the EA help agent. Once I reinstalled it and cleared any game data/saves, I opened it but had the same error.

@Puregravy Do you have another PS account that you could try to use to see if the same error is happening.

I assume the game is not installed on external drive?

@EA_Atic I checked the post and can see it's fixed now.
I tried to log into Battlefield 2042 today and I still get the same error. Again I did try Apex and FIFA to see if I could log into them and I could with no issues.

Have you tried your PSN account on another PlayStation 5, any friends close by you could try it? @Puregravy

@EA_Atic I went to a friends house and logged in on their PS5 but still had the same error after BF2042 was downloaded & opened.
