Unjustified account ban on BF2042
Hi everyone,
I just logged onto BF2024 only to find out in complete disbelief EA has banned my account from launching the game.
As a long time player since the old days of 1942, I never touched a single cheating or botting software in my life. In fact I’ve always been a staunch supporter of fair, transparent and honest competition and sportsmanship. I condemn cheaters to the bone. First I thought it was a mistake and tried relogging, of course with no avail.
Naturally, I appealed their decision and emailed customer support immediately. I was baffled when EA responded to me first thing in the morning, as they normally take their sweet time doing so. When I read their email, it said they’ve actually conducted a thorough investigation of my case and that the ban would not be lifted. After reassessment of my account support section, the ticket made by me was closed by EA with no further option of reappealing.
Asides from the completely absurd and unfair way to treat their valued customers and loyal fans of the Battlefield franchise, I was provided with zero information as to how I allegedly violated their terms of service, warranting a permanent suspension without further explanation nor prior notice.
Frankly, I feel cheated out of a game I purchased four years ago at full price from a company that doesn’t even seem to have the decency to reach out to me and build a real case to find out what’s going on. All I get is a generic message, possibly system generated with an absolute und completely unfounded statement. I’m at a loss of what steps to take next, as obviously this cannot be their final answer.
Please help.
