What is Error Code 1:4688822970:-4685921B - A cry for help...

Welp,  I never founf a solution that actually fixed the problem but once this most recent update rolled around it seems to have fixed it for the time being -  however now my battlefield labs says im not in a region that is available so who knows whats going on lol - i dont us a vpn 

So just kidding apparently -  i was able to play the game flawlessly for 2-3 days without any error code, and now its happening again. EA - What changed in the last few weeks??  this is just frustrating now 

Well. I am also facing the same issue since last 2 days. I didn't think it would be big issue at that time cause I casually play for a few hours but then I noticed that it is constantly happening in a certain time pattern like every 6-7 (exact minutes) it gets disconnected automatically and throws me out of the match and then it automatically reconnects me and takes me to the home page. I don't know what the hell is wrong with EA and AntiCheat but I have tried every solution related to Ethernet Adapter. Using DNS. Resetting Ethernet Adapter settings. Reinstalling Ethernet Adapter driver. Resetting my entire router. Changing my Ethernet Cable. Reinstalling EA Anti Cheat from inside the BF2042 Folder. My Windows 11 is all up to date. Windows Defender is up to date. Nvidia Drivers are all up to date. Nothing seems to be suspicious because every other goddamn game runs smoothly. I played Delta Force for 2 hours without disconnection message, but as soon as I play BF1 and BF2042, it keeps disconnecting every 5-6 minutes. It makes me wonder what the hell am I doing wrong here?! Can some professional EA debugger look into this big pile of p#op issue here?

I just tested running BF2042 for more than 10 minutes and it worked for some reason and it didn't give me any disconnection error and I was in the match for 10 minutes straight. 

I successfully achieved this milestone by disabling windows defender entirely using defender control. I don't know how and why it worked but there migut be some defender protection update that might have caused some conflicting issue with BF2042. 

To those having the same issue, you could give it a try. Get Defender Control 1.6 from google. Install it. Run it and disable windows defender. There are plenty of YT videos telling how to completely disable windows defender. Give it a try. It could fix the issue. 

Generally when i restart my computer it lasts a little longer - sometime up to 15 mins.   What is puzzling me is that for a few days or so it was fine and randomly started working- i changed nothing - then back to the same exact error...   Tried the defender thing and no joy for me

Of note... EA Anticheat is now named EA Javelin Anticheat now...

I just checked. That window defender trick isn't as reliable because I got disconnected today. This is just so **bleep** frustrating and nobody seems to be actually helping here. 

This issue has been ongoing for at least 2 years. I have tried everything, just as many others, to no avail. It's been more than evident that the issue is related to the faulty Anti-cheat service, but EA don't really care. There is a reason why there are barely enough people in the game to start a game...and yeah, the issue is also only present when using the cross-play. If you turn it off, to only play with PC gamers you won't get disconnected, but due to lack of support their entire player base is now 13 people...so good luck getting a server started.

Pinging again - months without any official help with constant outreach is just a little discouraging -  appreciate anyone who has suggested things but at this point, id really like some escalation options
