Well said...spot on. As someone who was on the ground level decades agin when competitive gaming was just coming to light, I think you are spot on with your assessment and theory. I think the "haters" to this idea are those who are on the cusp of being sweaty and need the easy XP from those who are just as you described...casual. Those that only get limited time to play. We enjoy the game, but are inherently at a disadvantage due to not being able to get in as much time. We DO enjoy this game more than other shooters also, hence why we are here. DICE could easily make it as you describe. Then the sweaty PVP'ers will not have to worry about us. They can all play at that next level while we play at ours. The progression system can also be easily separated by just some coding because the base code is already up and running. Great write up here. I appreciate it.
