I often see requests for a server browser on social media. I agree that a server browser is necessary, but when hosting a community event, all you need to do is search in the server browser, making it easy to jump to the same server. With the current system, you can't jump to the same server unless you jump from your friends list.
BF6 needs a base game server browser or it will be a repeat of BF2042. Once the player base begins to drop and match wait times increase, and getting placed in empty servers will kill this game a year from release.
I literally just wanna be able to say "I bought, played, and enjoyed BF6 for a minimum of 5yrs"
Server Browsers for the base game is the only way this is possible.
Bro it might be easier in oceanic now, with no 128 maps and no AI the 64 games will fill up faster. Yep sure map rotation gunna be the same but we should get full games.
Add Africa and middle east to the list, servers will be empty after few months, I'm BF players here since BFBC2 and it's sad to see it end like this, even a region select option is enough to solve the problem which many games with matchmaking system have it.
Yeah I think players dont realize that Portal IS the browser its basically Halo's Custom Game system with Forge built in. It may not be the browsers of yore but it works.
Hello, I'm a small BF content creator who spent all my previous playing sessions in BF2042 using a VPN ... more than 1000 hrs and made more than 150 video of suffering no server browser nor region select option, no proper map rotation and the extra issues of using a VPN, it was not fun experience.
Our region was literally empty most days of the week, the matchmaking search and search and doesn't move to the closest next region ... NO, it gets a timed out and back to the lobby so basically I couldn't play without VPN.
I'll not repeat the same mistake, I'll not buy BF6, I'll wait for proper solution like all other MP games, region select is the absolute minimum.
If there is no region select then low player count region will be dead again, it was a bad experience, do it like other MP games, .... after few months players count will go down is some regions and we will not be able to play normally, region select is a must if there is no server browser.
Portal is not a solution as it wasn't in BF2042, servers were not persistent and I couldn't find a single server with normal rules/full xp and proper map rotation.
The matchmaking should have filters of the region.

I made a thread on Reddit regarding server browser. People from NZ, Australia, Asia, South America will be screwed if the main game doesn't come with a server browser. There are simply not enough players to fill up the servers and you get stuck in empty lobbies waiying for ages. Battlefield 2042 died within a few months after launch and Portal as we all know was a joke with ridiculous servers that were unplayable.
I've been playing since Bad Company 2 and Battlefield 3 was my favourite. People in other regions shouldn't be punished by Dice. Please give us a server browser and don't limit us to our regions only.
I've been a veteran since Bad Company 2 and been a loyal battlefield player ever since I still regularly go on bf4 because of the server browser it's kept that legendary game alive 11years later , the way bf2042 is set up were u are put in different lobby with different players often on the same map is lack luster to say the least and adds to the fast demise of the game . Dice if u want the longevity of bf4 for bf6 add a server browser , proof is in the pudding so to speak
Super disappointing to not have a server browser in all out warfare. Not all of us live in the US and EU, no server browser is basically a death sentance in oceania. Dont mention the portal one, it isn't the same. Cant wait to join the same map 3 times in a row with 5 mins left.
Only through Portal it seems, if they gonna put in the main game, surely they would have talking about it now.

Battlefield 6 will provide ways for our players to browse and create servers through Portal. These options will also be easily findable on the main menu of the game.
I found it strange that I didn't highlight that the game will have a Server Browser since it is a much requested feature and absent in the last game of the franchise, if it doesn't have it it is a very serious mistake.
