Why do big heavy long rifles have such fast ADS times and movement speeds?
Wielding a Sniper Rifle SHOULD be DOUBLE 2x-3x the time and effort of any Assault Rifle in the game.
The speeds at which people are sniping everyone around them instantly should be slower. Again, this game isn't call of duty. It is battlefield.
Make sniping a bit more challenging and realistic by requiring more time and effort. Thank you.

I don't snipe, but I gave sniping a go and I am have to admit, it's too easy. I was popping off and I'm terrible at sniping! At least make it challenging and require skill to snipe.

Yeah EA/DICE is never going to nerf the sniper.
Too many popular streamers show off kill streaks while sniping.
Sniping has always ruined the balance of BF, but it's going nowhere and EA/DICE seem determined to make this version one of the most silly in many ways, so expecting something "grounded in realism" is too much to hope for.
Translation: Sniping should be realistic and hard, meanwhile all other guns should be easy, because that's balance...
Try to not move predictably and making yourself an easy target and you'll see how easy it is to minimize death by snipers.
I have almost exclusively sniped and it's far more difficult and far less rewarding than full auto guns. The only glaring problem here is the sweetspot which has forced sniping into too much of a niche role where it's damage is too high within specific long ranges, but too low outside of it. The only situation where it's consistently easy is when casuals with poor situational awareness make themselves an easy target, but then again it would be even easier with full auto guns.
