AGM-72 from attack jet kills helis with no lock on warning

I've been one-shotted in an attack heli several times by jets using the AGM-72. There is no lock on warning, or any warning at all. You just instantly die, out of nowhere. This feels very unfair. It ...

After seeing this YouTube video, I'm convinced what I've described above is a bug. I was probably being painted by SOFLAM, which allowed the AGM-72 to lock on to me without warning. Dice, plz fix.
