Can you remove Pinging in the game?

Solution: My friend found a way to remove pings go to Settings > Graphics > Icons and Indicators section: HUD Icons > Ping Marker Icon Opacity & Ping Marker Icon Opacity Zoomed > Set both to 0

So im trying to play this game like i would any other battlefield during fights im trying to spot people but sometimes i miss my target and hit Q and it leave a ping marker instead. Filling my HUD with useless nonsense or directing my teams attention to potentially the wrong place. When you have a Squad playing and coordinating it's even worse just missed spots/pings everywhere all the time it looks horrendous. I would rather nothing happen when you miss a spot like in every other battlefield than it leave a ping every time. Its so gross and annoying. 

I also think this is part of the reason why nobody is spotting in this game, ive never seen a battlefield game with so little spotting and its because its so annoying when you miss a spot it leave a great big bloody ping on your screen. Please if theres a way to remove this let me know or devs consider removing the system or making it a diffent key to ping its horrendous.
