Okay, so recently the best small game mode, King of the Hill was removed, and also Squad Deathmatch.I think if the concern is making sure these small modes have enough players, then instead of removing them entirely, just combine them in the custom search filter.If we're gonna lose the ability to select them in custom anyway, I would rather be forced to play modes I like less instead.KoTH and Domination just become "Small Flag"TDM and SDM just become "Deathmatch"P.s. if you play to remove one of the big modes, please remove Conquest instead of Escalation. Escalation is much better, just add it to the missing maps.

Whenever I see someone claim Escalation is better than Conquest I know I can safely ignore anything they have to say about Battlefield!

You're saying you rather them move conquest... battlefields iconic and signature game mode and replace it with escalation? Then you're complaining about King of the hill and domination.... you're sure you're a battlefield player? because no real battlefield player is really playing king of the hill or domination and certainly not going to come crying to the forums about it..... those are cods signature game modes go there im sure they have plenty of matches waiting for you ❤️ how about you suggest kill confirmed to be added too🙄

You must be seriously disconnected…Many Battlefield players enjoy small modest well, oftentimes as warmup sessions or something lighter for shorter sessions. Those modes having been removed has generated massive negative feedback all over the net, and here you come as if somehow this post was an outlier…Also, Escalation is a strict improvement on Conquest. Not only that, but people are seriously peeved off at how unbalanced Conquest has been in BF6, something Escalation suffers considerably less from. Nobody cares whether one is iconic, if one were to be removed, let’s keep the better one.Oh and also: putting “COD this and that” does not make you sound nearly as smart as you think it does.

I've been playing battlefield since battlefield-vietnam. Even back then my favorite maps were the urban maps like Hue City. And as a battlefield veteran and battledad, my favorite mode was squad death match. Small scale so I dont have to run a country mile in order to get into an engagement, teamwork, and cool maps. My favorite sqdm map was Eastwood estates. Literally every building is destructible. But alas, cant play my favorite mode on my favorite map. Eastwood on Dom and Tdm isnt the same map. So sir you are very wrong, there are plenty of battlefield players who enjoy smaller maps. I've never ran into bots playing on small scale maps, never.

Thank you for your feedback. The team has shared some additional context and addressed the recent adjustments to the Playlist:

We recognize that some of the affected modes are community favorites, regardless of how often they're played. We want those experiences to remain part of Battlefield 6, and we're continuing to explore the best ways to bring them into matchmaking while expanding longer-term options like Portal Verified modes and the Server Browser.

As part of next week's rotation, King of the Hill will return as part of an active playlist and will show up in Custom Search. We're also bringing back Operation Augur from Season 2 for one week now that the remaining issues affecting it have been resolved.

Obviously, that would the first choice by a mile. And I would say choice number two would be engaging with the community, explain why they need to remove modes and discuss it with us.

It was actually how Dice ran the live service in BFV and BF2042. It wasn't as bad with either from memory, though, as "core" modes tended to stay put.

How about they don't remove any game modes, and let it be the game be what we expect it to be, and what we all purchased.. LOL... not a big ask there.

Its alienating many of us.. I loved RUSH, sure some of the maps don't play RUSH well, but hey almost all the maps don't play all game modes well. Removing the MODES is a cheap and nasty fix... BF6 is not getting better, its getting worse !

Also, you've clearly never played Escalation. You'll have to explain to me how a mode that is 100% objective oriented is COD-like.
There is not a single mode that is sacred cow. I like the BF formula, and Escalation does it currently much better than Conquest. I don't give a toss about what mode is historic, if DICE continues downsizing and we have to keep one, I'd rather it'd be the better one.

I like some of your suggestions, but please don’t lump SQDM with TDM. I hate SQDM, my squad is usually a bunch of idiots that let themselves get surrounded and I do nothing except spawn/die.

We can play TDM, it just has to be done via the “search” function, but the downside is it always seems to be the same 3-4 maps including Blackwell and First Cut, which is boring AF.

A rabbit jumping Call of Duty with small maps. You enjoy the rabbit jumping and sliding. When Battlefield 2 was released we constantly did posts/polls to remove all Call of Duty playstyles rabbit jumping and the dolphin dive exploit.
Patch 1.2 they listened and removed it all. Even shooting while jumping.
True battlefield fans dont want it. Removing conquest would be another change that makes this game even more like Call of Dooty.
