Bad experience with map design, size and gameplay

I would like to provide some feedback regarding the current state of Battlefield 6. While I appreciate the effort put into the game, there are several areas that I believe could be improved to enhance the overall player experience.

 

Map Size and Design: The current maps feel quite small and restrictive. Expanding the size of existing maps and reworking certain areas for better layout and flow would greatly improve strategic gameplay.

Game Pace: The pace of the game is currently too fast. Slowing down movement and combat slightly would allow for more tactical decision-making and make engagements feel more meaningful.

Map Aesthetic and Layout: Some map designs feel repetitive and could benefit from more variety and thoughtful design to encourage diverse strategies and playstyles.

Distinct Identity: I suggest moving further away from a “Call of Duty” style gameplay approach and emphasizing Battlefield’s unique identity, with larger-scale battles and strategic depth.

I hope this feedback is helpful in making Battlefield 6 an even more enjoyable and distinctive experience for the community.

  • The reason the game feels so fast is no because the player models actually are faster, but the map design where flags are all really close, and health regen is far too fast and now half the team can revive people, it just creates situations where people are running around like headless chickens. If the slowed health regen or tiered it like in previous games (lose more than half health you only regen to 50%) and create a little more space between flags then the whole game would slow down and be better for it

    Yes I agree they should reworking on the maps. Design is bad also is even big maps feeling small. They can enlarge the small maps  more with the new updates.

  • Urban maps do not belong here the way they are now.

     

    we cant have people in top of the roofs shooting rpg to the tank that just spawned for example in manathan map

    its just a example

    or even in that desert map, with buildings under construction people are glitching to the roof and killing tanks at the spawn

    if i have time i share here. its on my last live video i made 2h ago. we didnt even passed the first base

    Yeap, could not agree more. People run so fast, guns do so much dmg, people die too fast that playing or having a medic almost makes no sense to play. Practically renders healing teammates useless or waiting for revive since you spawn so fast and back in the rush anyway. I rly dislike game pace, it is nothing like previous BF

    I think they should make like battlefield 1 or 5 . This is too much paced 

  • I do agree about the map size, and pace of the game, specially with distinctive identity. Map design felt right to me with open and closed combat areas and mixes cause one should adapt to the terrain or find an advantage that suits you but map size does kill my enjoyment specially how fast players move and don't need to take a break. They need to add a stamina bar and add light vehicles spawn on objectives for easier field traversal as many complain about having to walk too much which is the point of dying too much
