I play a LOT of this game and I can say exactly what happens.
if we had a longer queue time, to stack players after creating a actual map lobby, it would clearly increase the number of players in each match, sometimes I find a match in 3 seconds but it creates a new match with maybe, MAYBE 3 players, which makes the lobby stagnates because at the same time, other people that queued at the same time didn’t joined our match.
the matchmaking system simply created another match with 3 players that got splitted instead of merged.
This creates a bunch of full of lobby matches that results in shallow matches and a bot farm.
this can easily be reduced if they tweak this algorithm for a longer queue/match preparation time.
hope EA threats this good, cause wanting or not is a big motive of why people her offend gives up about the game!
I still play and still be playing!
but I hopes they can see this with other eyes.
