Battlefield 6 maps feel way too small

Dear Development Team,

34-year-old veteran here. Coming from Battlefield 2, Battlefield 3, Battlefield 4, and Battlefield 2042.

You had the mission and vision to make Battlefield 6 great again.

But what is wrong with the map sizes?

In the old games the US Marines had carrier starting points, boats, and massive open areas. The maps were huge and full of life.

Examples:
- Gulf of Oman (BF2, BF3)
- Wake Island (BF2, BF3)
- Daqing Oilfields (BF2)
- Dragon Valley (BF2, BF3)
- Caspian Border (BF3)

and many more.

Right now most of the maps feel like the 16-player versions from Battlefield 2.

Why is that? I don’t want to fly with a jet for 10 seconds, move my mouse, and then fly another 10 seconds. Even with tanks the maps feel claustrophobic.

You are Battlefield, not Call of Duty.

People love this franchise because of its vehicle gameplay and its massive maps. That’s what makes Battlefield special.

Why not create a map like Gibraltar from the campaign? A carrier in the water, a giant rock to attack, the enemies holding the airfield and the city. That would feel epic again.

The current maps are simply too small to enjoy.
