BF Pro Bonus Path Allows Players Without BF Pro to Spend Coins Without Any Warning

I would like to report what I believe is a serious design issue with the BF Pro Bonus Path.

This is not a complaint about BF Pro-exclusive rewards. I fully understand that the Redline Crusher skin requires an active BF Pro subscription.

The problem is something different.

I do not own BF Pro. I reached the final tier of the BF Pro Bonus Path, where the Redline Crusher skin was shown as the final reward. The game allowed me to spend 150 BF Pro Coins to complete the final Bonus Path tier.

There was no clear warning, confirmation message, or restriction informing me that I would permanently spend my 150 BF Pro Coins while remaining unable to use the reward because I did not own BF Pro.

After confirming the purchase:

150 BF Pro Coins were deducted from my account.

The Bonus Path was marked as Completed (10/10).

The Redline Crusher skin remained locked with "Requires BF Pro."

I contacted EA Support several times. They confirmed that this is currently intended behavior, that Tier Skips can be purchased even without BF Pro, and that the reward will only become available if I purchase BF Pro in the future. They also informed me that my 150 BF Pro Coins cannot be refunded under the current policy.

While I respect EA's policy, I believe the purchase flow is misleading and unfair. Players who do not own BF Pro should not be able to spend premium currency on a reward they cannot use without receiving a clear warning first.

I believe one of the following changes should be made:

Prevent non-BF Pro players from spending BF Pro Coins on BF Pro Bonus Path progression.

Display a clear warning before confirming the purchase that the reward will remain locked without BF Pro.

Require an additional confirmation before deducting premium currency.

Without these protections, many players may make the same mistake that I did.

Finally, I kindly ask EA to review my individual case once more and consider refunding the 150 BF Pro Coins that were deducted from my account. I am not asking for free content or special treatment. I am only requesting the return of the premium currency I spent because the game did not clearly warn me that I would not be able to use the reward without BF Pro. I hope EA will consider this as a gesture of goodwill and fairness.

Has anyone else experienced the same issue?
