People have been complaining about this since launch, but EA hasn't even spoken about the disparity even as much as they say they're listening.
The aim assist is one thing as well, but there is also the giant elephant in the room that is the recoil reduction. There's no excuse for it, but it's still there.
On top of that, I'm certain consoles also enjoy projectile guidance. I have watched an RPG redirect itself mid flight to hit it's target. Bullets seem to wrap around corners when the other player is a controller abuser.
Then you have the netcode issues that seem to coincide with the amount of console players. When the game is playing well, you check the scoreboard see see mostly PC players. When it's playing poorly, you see mostly consoles. I don't think it's coincidence.

The combination of aim assist and reduced recoil really makes a noticeable difference, especially in close to mid-range fights. It might be intended as “balance,” but in practice, it often feels like a real advantage.
What’s really frustrating is that EA hasn’t addressed this clearly. If it’s an intentional design choice, they should just be transparent about it instead of leaving players guessing.
