BF6 why such a few servers? ( south america)

The "browse servers" section is only the portal/community servers. None of the lobbies from regular matchmaking are in there. The lobbies from regular matchmaking aren't persistent and don't show up in any sort of browser, but most of the players join those regular matchmaking lobbies.

The thing is the matchmaking puts me in heavy ping servers, super high ping 

That's something that's been boggling my mind, apparently there were over 7 million copies sold, with over 50% on Steam, still the highest player count on Steam is 656k. So what? over 2.9M bought it but never played it on Steam?!

In my region, there are like 50 community servers, never were there any more, half are also empty, how is this possible with hundreds of thousands of players? Something sure doesn't add up.

Yeah, unfortunately unless Dice finally gives in and gives us persistent servers and a server browser for the normal matchmaking lobbies...then people who are in lower population regions are stuck with a bad situation. Even in high population areas, not having persistent servers is terrible for all sorts of reasons.
