Just keep flooding the threads with your grievances. The casual gamer / battledad are angry and rightfully so.
We were promised XP and weapon progression in Portal. It was advertised. Play your way. This was a huge selling point for so many casual gamers. I had a ton of fun with my buddy playing bots on 2042. I bought this game specifically because of the fact that I was going to be able to play the way I wanted and actually be able to level and have normal weapon progression.
Why must EVERYTHING be tailored to multiplayer? Why can't the casual gamer have a mode that they can play without the stress of being spawn camped and farmed by sweats?
Videogames are meant to be fun for everyone. Not just a specific type of gamer. We as casual gamers were having so much fun playing verified game modes in Portal and actually making some progress towards weapon unlocks. I could have honestly played this game for years. Unfortunately I have barely touched the game since they punished the casual gamer by taking away bots.
People should be pissed off. By falsely advertising a game just to sell copies and then completely reversing their selling points should absolutely be illegal. This is a blatant type of theft / scam.
