Of note, my favorite way to select matches is to go through custom search: I put in Escalation and sometimes Conquest, the maps I actually want to play, and basically will just get my selection match to match.
What I CANT select in custom matches is closed weapons. Everything has been done to hide or eliminate this option, from hiding it in the menus to not making it an option in custom searches. So of course the vast majority is playing open, perhaps not even knowing the other is the standard BF option, or heck, that it even exists, and DICE happily claims it’s what players want.
It is clear they wanted to kill closed weapons, and shame on them to have removed the very option from the current playlists. Whether it was on purpose - but silent - or by omission, it just shows what their intention was all the way.
so how to get a official reply?
they need to let us know. how can they remove something without even telling us. that is so deceiving. what is wrong with them?
