Config Profiles
Hello EA Team,
I would like to recommend have Configuration Profiles (CP) to be able to save settings when trying out new configurations. This will allow for a better use experience when experimenting adjustments made without losing original settings. This could also help share settings with friends and others (think streamers) to share as well. Here is what I am thinking:
- Configuration interface stays the same
- Add options within settings to allow for "Save changes to Configuration Profile".
- For Example, on PS5, the Options button
- Allow for
- Customizable Name (human readable)
- Add or replace existing CPs
- Code generator of CPs for sharing
To expand on this idea, maybe have the ability to get codes for specific sections to update parts and not everything. For example: A code for AIM, and another for ZOOM, but still have codes for parent sections for all sub sections.
Part of the reason is that there are SO many different configurations as well as potential for future features that it can be hard to keep track of them all. When users are trying new settings, it can be chore to find and re-adjust to previous settings. Also, it would make it easier to restore your settings in case the game ever gets corrupted or an update inadvertently changes your settings.
I am really excited with all the current features the game currently has and how EA team actually listens to their gamers. It is my hope that you would consider this as a viable Quality of Life idea for us gamers.
