Snipers are mostly lethal in the hands of a controller. PC players mostly struggle, but binding the Range Finder to the ADS button broke the game. I will never use any macros or key bindings/mapping because such actions break the game for everyone, in the same way as aim assists or, any 3rd party software.

I will press X to doubt the statement that controllers in any way help with landing headshots.
I spent the last night mastering up the Mini Scout without the range finder, mainly targeting enemy snipers. I claimed so many headshots on the two guys who glitched their way up to the roofs in Sobek breakthrough.
There is no need for the range finder to do well in those tiny maps, unless one is trying to hit someone halfway across the map

Landing headshots not entirely. But shooting at a body or pre-snaping actually helps them a lot. Every single time, they may lock on the target, even through foliage. You cannot do any strafe movement, the aim lock will follow no matter what.

Not really. It is enough to hit someone at the centre mass of the body with ADS + Range Finder bound together with one click... most of the time, instant headshots at ranges over 50m.
