Did a bit of quick reading as I know nothing about " Kernal level access" and I found this article:

Although I am in favour of anything that says " Anticheat" in gaming, I am alarmed at the level of access you are granting a 3rd party program to your home computer.
And it requires manual removal should you remove the game it was monitoring. We would all remember to do that wouldn't we.
If I may offer a scenario, it would be like letting a complete stranger look at your bank savings account, as long as he promised not to look at anything else while he was in there.
We are constantly on guard against virus's, scams and phishing attempts and the rest, so why would we install a program that has free access our computers with no restrictions about what it is capable of, apart from a promise from the manufacturer.
More thought required here.
