You had 10 business days to react to not only getting shot at from the right side where the dude gave himself away, but you could hear the direction of his footsteps from a mile away. Why did you hug the corner like that instead of holding a wide angle? He was going to get you regardless of if he slid or not just based on how you reacted so slowly.
It's really bad, sliding 40 ft, not necessarily the speed but the distance. In reality, it should be removed altogether. It has no place in BF. If you want it, consider another arena style FPS.

Modern games require modern things. Why would I want a game to never evolve and play like a game from 20 years ago? Sliding isn't the problem here, its the horrendous situational awareness. You can tell which direction the dude was moving in. If OP had just held the corner further away, he would have easily gotten that kill because someone sliding is going in a linear motion that can't be stopped/changed lol.
"Evolve"? You mean get worse. If you want to go play soccer, go play soccer. FPS aren't for you and that's ok. There are sports games.

Ya, because it wasn't that fast lol. You zoomed in your recording to make it look faster than it really was. If this was BF3 you would have died the same way, just with a corner hop instead of a slide.

Oh quit exaggerating. The jump was like 2ft. He barely went anywhere after coming out of the slide. Like I said, if you were not hugging that corner and stood back a bit, you would have had the angle, but instead you made yourself an easier target and made it more difficult for yourself to turn and track.
