Feature Suggestion: Side arm shooting while being dragged

I know the Dev's are hugely working hard on trying to add in fixes and bug fixes and such like that, but i figure i would give a suggestion feature for the game that i think would be really cool. (also suggested this in live gaming chat and lots of peeps thought it was cool/good idea)

So when you're downed and you're getting revived while being dragged away by your squad mate/team support,  it'd be really awesome if you could pull out your side arm and shoot your enemies (ALBEIT at a slower rate of fire, because you're fading in and out of consciousness). 

This would make the player still feel like their contributing and playing in the action, instead of just waiting and doing nothing.
