Feedback for BF6 Labs (Multiplayer/RedSec/Solo) - [EA ID:ScoutEchoFive]:

Here is my Feedback for Battlefield Six Labs (Multiplayer/RedSec/Solo) - [EA ID:ScoutEchoFive]:

Map and Content Host Access Model

Add dedicated development map team for new map content with host access model where only the lobby leader needs to own new maps for their entire squad to play. This prevents community fragmentation by allowing friends to stay together regardless of who bought the content. It keeps DLC maps highly populated while maintaining a pro-consumer, social experience. This system ensures no player is left behind just because they don't own the latest expansion and monetizes new content and promotes more squad based play

Environmental Visibility Issues on Console

Despite calibrating Samsung S90F TV settings, PS5 HDR, and in-game effects like vignette, building and shadow visibility remains poor with VIOS enabled. Excessive environmental debris (e.g., tumbleweeds, flying particles) masks player movement despite clear tracers and muzzle flashes. Recommend improving shadow clarity and reducing non-player visual clutter to prioritize competitive clarity and ensure player models are visible over atmospheric effects. Investigate visibility improvements such as adding black and/or more white shadow detail to silhouette in dark areas from indoor lighting. Improve soldier visuality near the ring of fire in Redsec. It is difficult for PS5 players to see, if at, versus a PC players with better graphics processing equipment, increased frame rates, resolution, etc., which may allow PC players to see PS5 players in the final ring of fire.

PC vs. Console Visibility

PC players gain an advantage in firefights from higher graphics and frame rates, making it easier to spot enemies in low-visibility conditions. Include separate profiles to allow PC vs XBOX and or PS5 vs XBOX versus crossplay off.

Squad Based Play

Add new feature similar to Battlefield 5 where squad leader gives orders to squad by marking objective to promote squad based play.  After squad captures 20 objectives as a squad this may reward a smoke screen e.g., after 40 objectives captured combined squad leader an/or squad members have option to call-in VL-7 strike or Artillery Strike

Settings Guide:

Despite extensive calibration in settings for aim and visibility e.g. the Samsung S90F settings, PS5 HDR, and in-game effects like vignette, building and shadow visibility remains difficult with VIOS enabled. Visibility is further hindered by excessive environmental 'noise'—like flying debris and e.g., tumbleweeds—which masks player movement despite clear tracers and muzzle flashes.  Consider reducing noise by 50 percent and investigate shadow clarity and reduce non-player visual clutter to ensure environmental effects don't unfairly punish visibility and target acquisition. Competitive clarity should prioritize player models over atmospheric debris

Training tools and questionnaire

To improve beginner retention, introduce an interactive calibration tool or questionnaire to create personalized settings.  The initial settings appear to be at an extreme disadvantage and may not promote a good baseline setting and game experience. Default settings can disadvantage new players—sometimes creating memorable moments for veterans but often causing frustration that drives beginners away. Add a guided 'Aim Training' tutorial would help beginners fine-tune their setup for a more responsive and enjoyable experience. This ensures that a player's performance is limited by their skill progression rather than unoptimized base settings. Add test range from community server e.g., Test Range code Z4Zt6 to Battlefield Six 101. Here is an example in-game setting questionnaire:

Battlefield 6: Personalized Aim Setup Questionnaire Example

1. Which describes your thumbstick/mouse movement? (A) I prefer large, sweeping movements (Lower Sensitivity). (B) I prefer small, twitchy movements (Higher Sensitivity). 2. How often do you "overshoot" your target when turning? (A) Often, I move past them (Lower your Sensitivity/Increase Deadzone). (B) Rarely, I struggle to reach them (Increase your Sensitivity). 3. When aiming down sights (ADS), do you want more control or more speed? (A) Precision control for long range (Lower ADS Multiplier). (B) Snap-to-target speed for close quarters (Higher ADS Multiplier).4. Does your character/camera drift slightly even when you aren't touching the stick? (A) Yes (Increase Inner Deadzone). (B) No (Keep Deadzone at Minimum). 5. How "heavy" should the aiming feel? (A) Linear and raw (Disable Aim Acceleration). (B) Steady and smoothed out (Enable Aim Smoothing/Acceleration).  The Result based on these answers may help automate  "Standard," "Precise," or "Reactionary" player profile settings.

Uniforms and Skins

To preserve the game’s atmosphere, add clear aesthetic divide between factions: NATO should feature authentic, real-world military gear (e.g., modern crye precision, realistic camouflages, and tactical rigs) to appeal to fans of realism. In contrast, more stylized or 'vibrant' skins, similar to the “COD” aesthetic, should be reserved for the PAX faction. This allows for creative expression without breaking the immersion of players who prefer a grounded military experience. This 'factions-based' visual identity would satisfy both collectors and purists while maintaining Battlefield’s signature grit."

Knocked Out Skin Unlock Recon

After joining repeat.gg BF6 tournament, the recon skin “knocked out” unlocked through tournament play did not unlock.  Allow unlocking this skin after competing in tournament at repeat.gg.

RedSec Solo Feedback

1. Allow players to select additional gadgets from other class in custom caches e.g., RPGs. 2. Add more target/counter missions to increase movement. 3. Investigate fuel requirement for vehicles (requires depot route planning) although survivability may be an issue from 5 x RPG load out, artillery strike, and drone combo. 5. Investigate vehicle balance e.g., 4 - 5x RPGs in load out from ammo crate, 3 x RPG destroys vehicle. 2 x RPG disables tank but with 50 percent slower movement. 2 x RPG from rear of tank destroys It. 6. Add new feature mission similar to the VL7 mission for new content

Add friendly drone(s) and/or drone to mini map to increase situational awareness to prevent friendly players from having to lookup to detect drone sound in area of operation. This is missing from the mini map in/or be a new software issue.

Evaluate sniper sweet spot for PSR and M2010. Consider reducing the range gap. Increasing the range of the sweet spot e.g., 150-175 meters, limited about of health points e.g., 95 health reduction, or removing this all together while possibly increasing the rate of fire as a tradeoff.

Players are able to see 3D spot in and out of smoke screen of VL-7 potentially on PC. On the other hand XBOX and PS5 players may have extreme reduced visibility if at all, in the final ring of fire, smoke screens, or VL-7 screen.

Footsteps cannot be heard in current update, if at all, while Recon drone is in use during RedSec solos.

Excellent game overall 8.9/10.

Yes, I completely agree! Great idea. Hopefully EA sees this and implement’s it.
