Firing range full class

I find myself instinctively trying to switch to a sidearm in the firing range and can’t because you don’t have a full class. Not to mention you can’t use any gadgets so dialing in your GL rounds is a hands on experience. Personally I miss the BF3 test range but I guess the theory was to solve itself in portal.
